The Golwé - named after her inventors Goldschmidt and Weber - is a hybrid between the Garratt and the Kitson-Meyer. The aft boggie carries the carried a U-shaped water tank around the fuel tank on the main frame. the forward bogie is located under the boiler below the main frame like in a Kitson-Meyer. |
